Luis I, King of Spain . 1724.
Madrid, August 25, 1707 - August 31, 1724, called the Beloved or Liberal, king of Spain. His reign of 229 days is the most ephemeral of English history. He was the eldest son of Felipe V and Maria Luisa of Savoy.
Luis was married to the French princess Luisa Isabel de Orleans, since 1722. When married, he was fifteen and she twelve. Luisa Isabel, a queen, became worthy of strong censure for his bizarre behavior. However, when the young king fell ill with smallpox in August of that year, loving care, occupational exposure, as was the case but with a different outcome to that of her husband. At seven months after the monarch ascended the throne died of smallpox in Madrid on August 31, 1724, just turned seventeen.

Luisa Isabel was sent back to France, since his stay in Spain was useless and enjoyed little sympathy in the English court. Had no children.
